Lucy is a Creative Arts Volunteer at St Gemma's, supporting patients in our Day Services art room. Creative projects allow our patients a chance to learn new skills, relax and relieve anxiety.
Lucy told us why she loves being a volunteer: "I like helping people do things that they didn’t think they could do. Some patients might think that they’re not arty, but a few weeks later they have made a beautiful silk scarf!"
