Welcome to St Gemma’s Hospice

St Gemma's Hospice is a local, independent charity. We've been providing expert care to the people of Leeds for over 40 years.

St Gemma’s Hospice provides the best possible care and support for local people with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. We specialise in pain relief and symptom control to help people live as well as possible, for as long as possible. This is known as palliative care.

It’s a friendly, warm and safe place at the heart of the local community with a large range of expert services to support patients, their families and friends, both in the Hospice and in the community.

How You Can Support St Gemma’s

It is only thanks to you, our community of supporters, that local people can receive the care they need when they need it the most. Why not support St Gemma's today?

Whether it's a regular monthly donation, a gift in your will or in memory of your loved one, there are so many ways you can make a difference.

Join our team of over 700 volunteers who support our work at the Hospice, at our events, in our chain of charity shops and more.

We have a chain of charity shops in Leeds and the surrounding areas. Donate unwanted items and pick up something new to love!

Support our patient care by organising your own fundraising or taking part in one of our events, challenges or initiatives.
