Every Moment Matters Appeal

Every moment matters for families like Jarnail’s. Please give whatever you can so every family can have the support of St Gemma’s when they need it most.

Jarnail’s journey with St Gemma’s began when his cancer returned. His family were crushed. But then they met the St Gemma’s community nursing team, and everything changed for them.

Chitinder and Dally told us how the kindness, care and reassurance of the St Gemma’s nurses became a lifeline to their family, giving them comfort and allowing them to cherish the moments they had left together.

The support their family received meant they could spend their time being a family, not just carers. Their dad was able to stay at home, surrounded by love with dignity and peace in his final moments.

In his memory, Chitinder and Dally want to celebrate their dad’s life by sharing his story and supporting our Every Moment Matters Appeal.

By supporting St Gemma’s today, you can help more families like Jarnail’s; ensuring every family has the love, care and compassion that made such a difference to them.

Please give whatever you can today.

A donation of any size will make a huge difference:

£15 could support funding a physiotherapy appointment to ease an outpatient’s pain and symptoms.

£25 could provide expert telephone advice and support to a patient at home.

£50 could pay for an hour of specialist end-of-life care.

This year, we’re inviting our kind supporters to dedicate a ribbon in memory of their loved one. We will have a special display at the Hospice on the Path of Life. If you would like to dedicate a ribbon for your loved one, please choose this option when making your online donation.

The display will be free to visit any time of day from 7th June until 20th July.
