Advanced Communication Skills Training for Leeds Community Healthcare (LCH) and the Primary Care Teams (PCT)

Course Content

This is an opportunity to explore key communication skills around having conversations with patients about care at the end of life e.g. preferred priorities of care. The course also provides the opportunity to discuss why, when and how to have them, how to manage different situations/reactions and to explore skills you can take back into practice through scenario based learning.

Eligibility Criteria

For Leeds Community Healthcare and Primary Care Team senior clinicians who are band 6 or above and in a patient-facing role that involves palliative and end of life care/advanced care planning conversations.
