It’s easy to get started planning your own fundraising event or challenge, but our fundraising team is here every step of the way to help you make your fundraising a success.
It costs around £13 million a year to keep St Gemma’s Hospice running. We can only do this with your support and the huge difference you can make!
Last year almost £100,000 was raised from our supporters taking on their own challenges, from climbing mountains to cycling the length of the UK.
Host your own event
Whether you are planning a coffee morning, charity ball or a quiz night at your local pub, our fundraising team can help you make the most of your event.
If you already know what you are planning but want some ideas on how to boost your fundraising, why not think about including a raffle, games, an auction or sell refreshments.
Take up a sponsored challenge
Got a bad habit you want to kick or just want to see if you can go without your favourite thing for a month? Get sponsored and motivate yourself to complete your challenge and raise vital funds at the same time!
Do something wild with your wig for this hair-raising challenge! Could you shave your hair, dye it purple or grow a beard (or shave it off if you usually have one!)?
Swim, run, climb, cycle, trek or walk – the possibilities are endless! Set your own challenge or sign up to an organised event and push yourself to raise funds for your local hospice.
Fundraise at school
Raising money is a brilliant way to bring the school together and also teaches children about the importance of helping others.
From bake sales and non-uniform days to sponsored dances and sports days, you can get creative with your fundraising.
