If you’d like to write your Will from the comfort of your own home at a time and pace to suit you, you can use an Kwil’s online or telephone service to create your own legally binding Will.
It’s quick and easy to use – a simple Will can be completed in as little as 30 minutes. If you need any guidance during the process, you can get support from an expert over the telephone or through the website.
Anyone can use Kwil to write a Basic Will free of charge, and St Gemma’s supporters can also upgrade to a Premium Will at no extra cost. Whether you write a Basic Will (always free), a Premium Single Will (usually £90+VAT), or a Premium Couples Will (usually £120+VAT), please enter the code STGEMMAS once you’ve completed all the steps. This will allow you to receive a Premium Will completely free of charge.
How Kwil works
Kwil allows you to write your Will online by answering some simple questions in an easy, step-by-step process. The experts at Kwil then check your Will by to make sure it’s valid. They do this on the day you submit it, so you’ll receive confirmation that very same day.
Once the team at Kwil has confirmed that your Will is all correct, you need to print it at home, sign it yourself, and ask two witnesses to sign it. You keep your Will at home, and the online version is stored securely by Kwil. You can go online whenever you like to make changes to your Will and print an updated version.
If you’d prefer to make your Will over the phone, you can speak to someone at Kwil by calling 0800 061 4934 (freephone). One of their team will take you through the Will-writing process over the telephone.
Leaving a gift to St Gemma’s
There’s no obligation to include St Gemma’s in your Will, and you don’t need to let us know your intentions. However, after providing for their loved ones many people also choose to remember their favourite charity. We hope that people using our Will-writing service may consider leaving a small gift to help local families in the future. Find out more about leaving a gift to St Gemma’s.
