Helping us to provide a day of nursing and medical care

Sponsoring a day will help us to provide a day of nursing and medical care for a patient, whether in our specialist In-Patient Unit, our Day Hospice or in a patient’s own home supported by our Community Nurse Specialists.

Our care is based in the idea that our patients are more than the illness that brought them to us, and we take the time to get to know each individual in our care. We recognise their unique physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs and tailor each person’s care accordingly. By sponsoring a Day of Care, you can help ensure we are able to continue to provide the holistic care for each individual that we do, making sure that our patients’ needs are met with care, compassion, and skill so they can make the most of every day

Help us care so families can create treasured memories

Whether you make a one off donation, set up a direct debit or raise the funds through an event or challenge, you will know that on the day you sponsor thanks to you, a patient and their family will be supported so they can concentrate on creating treasured memories, which mean so much when days are limited.

In total Dad spent 42 days as an In-Patient at St Gemma’s, so if we could provide just one day of that to another family, experiencing the most difficult time of their lives, this would bring us huge comfort.
