Financial support from Trusts and Foundations is a vital source of income to St Gemma’s Hospice.
The grant we receive from the NHS covers only 31% of the income we need to run our Hospice services each year.
The support we receive from a wide range of grant-giving bodies every year, funds invaluable equipment, services or materials, and supports the development of innovative new projects. This allows us to continue to provide the best possible care. We are indebted to the support of such organisations and would like to thank them for all their continued support.
We are currently running a number of exciting projects and developments that are currently funded by Charitable Trusts and Foundations, or for which we are seeking funding. These include:
• Day Therapies
• Clinical Equipment
• Bereavement Support
• Spiritual Care
• BAME communities outreach
• Young People’s Bereavement Services
• Dementia Care services and equipment
• Wellbeing and Social Welfare for Carers and the Elderly
• Palliative Care Research
• Arts and Complimentary Therapies
• Capital Projects
• Vehicles
• Voluntary Services
• Healthcare Services
We are always keen to broaden our networks and meet new potential donors who wish to support our work. If you are aware of any Trusts or Foundations who may wish to work with us, please contact Elaine on elaine.campbell@st-gemma.co.uk or 0113 218 5550.
