Our shops are open from 12th April 2021. Donations can be brought to our shops from 12th April 2021. Please do not leave items outside of our shops when they are closed.

Thank you for your generous support and cooperation – we are so grateful to everyone who has kindly kept their donated items at home while our shops have been closed!

Donate Your Unwanted Items

Our St Gemma’s charity shops can accept unwanted men’s, women’s and children’s clothes, shoes, handbags, toys, games, books, music and bric-a-brac. We can also accept electrical items (not large white goods) and furniture.

If you are a UK taxpayer, ask to Gift Aid the goods you donate to our shops. Click for more information.

Please follow our current process for accepting donations and any instructions you have given regarding your collection/drop-off.

Alternatively, if you find it difficult to get to one of our shops please either use the contact form below or give us a call to arrange for one of our drivers to collect these items from you. Please phone 0113 255 7552 or click here to request a collection of items you would to donate.

Our St Gemma’s drivers drive clearly marked St Gemma’s Hospice white vans with green and purple logo. All of our drivers wear official St Gemma’s Hospice badges.

Please note that soft furnishing must have fire safety labels. We cannot accept large white goods. Please don’t be disappointed if we are unable to accept items for reasons of safety or quality.
