Course Content

This is an opportunity to explore some key communication skills around having conversations with patients about care at the end of life e.g. preferred priorities of care, ReSPECT. Also to discuss why, when and how to have them, how to manage different situations / reactions and to explore skills you can take back into practice through scenario-based learning.

Eligibility Criteria

Registered Nurses (including Associate Nurses) or Allied Healthcare Professionals working within adult wards in HDFT or in community setting (note: limited places may be available for medical staff, if free places).
