Donate your unwanted goods

Our St Gemma’s charity shops can accept unwanted men’s, women’s and children’s clothes, shoes, handbags, toys, games, books, music and bric-a-brac. We accept electrical items (not large white goods) and we now accept furniture.

If you are a UK taxpayer, ask to Gift Aid the goods you donate to our shops. Click for more information.

Please donate any items to the shops themselves during opening hours or at the collection point at the Hospice at any time (follow signs for Day Hospice and Deliveries to the rear of the Hospice). We also have a clothing bank located at our Bramley retail hub for donations outside of opening hours. Alternatively, if you find it difficult to get to one of our shops please either use the contact form below or phone 0113 255 7552 to arrange for one of our drivers to collect these items from you. Click here to request a collection of items you would to donate.

Our St Gemma’s drivers drive clearly marked St Gemma’s Hospice white vans with green and purple logo. All of our drivers wear official St Gemma’s Hospice badges.

Remember, any items you wish to recycle can be brought to any of our charity shops across Leeds and the surrounding areas.

Please note that soft furnishing must have fire safety labels. Please don’t be disappointed if we are unable to accept items for reasons of safety or quality.
