You may prefer to ask friends and relatives to make a donation to the work at St Gemma’s rather than send flowers to their loved one’s funeral, even if they have not been cared for by the Hospice.
If this is something you have considered, we are happy to let you have a collection box and/or a supply of ready printed cards explaining your preference to friends and relatives as well as details of our FREEPOST address for them to send their gift to. All you have to do is write the name of your loved one and distribute the envelopes to your friends and relatives.
By asking people to send their gifts direct to the Hospice means there is less for you to do at a time when you probably have more than enough to cope with.
We will notify you of who has donated to us after all the gifts have been processed.
All you need to do is email Tara Bean with the following information:
the name of your loved one
quantity of cards required
We will then post them to you for you to distribute or if you would like to make an online donation to St. Gemma’s Hospice in lieu of flowers, please do so here.
