Sinead’s father Thomas was cared for on the Hospice In-Patient Unit in summer 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic. Sinead shares her story:
“My father got taken in to St Gemma’s at the start of July 2021. He didn’t last long and was there for just over 2 weeks.
The care and compassion the staff gave was amazing in the current situation with the COVID-19, how they looked after him with care respect and made sure he was comfortable in his last days.
I owe everything to St Gemma’s and the staff who made him comfortable and were supportive to us as a family and my father.”
